We want to hear your story, get to know you, or answer any questions you have and help you find a place to fit in the Covenant of Peace family. Who We Really Are
We are people saved by Jesus from our own misguided ways. His unconditional acceptance now prompts us to daily seek and follow Him, and draw others to Him through love. We are not perfect, but we follow the One who makes us perfect in God’s eyes!
What Are Sundays Like?
Sundays are a time to join with others to celebrate the good news about Jesus and remember the truths that changed our lives. We sing, give, hear God’s Word, have opportunities to express our needs to God in prayer, and meet with our friends and pastors.
Who Comes To COP On Sundays?
A typical Sunday has a mix of believers in Jesus Christ, as well as some who are simply investigating Jesus with us. We have university students, young adults, families with children of all ages, working professionals, as well as some amazing senior citizens too.

Covenant of Peace (COP) is open to everyone. However, some people choose to make COP their church home through informal membership. Membership at COP represents our commitment to collectively live in love and holiness as Jesus instructed us to do. It also represents a commitment to carry out the mission He left to us. Becoming a member at COP means that you commit to participate in the mission and vision of the Redeemed Christian Church of God and COP.

We strive for life-changing gatherings. In the teaching, preaching, music, giving, and celebrating, we aim to keep the focus on Jesus. Our music and preaching are about pointing everyone to the greatness and love of God. We want to clearly and consistently communicate the good news of Jesus to all who gather with us.
On any Sunday, you will experience solid biblical teaching that is gospel-centered and accessible. This includes interactive, adult Sunday School. We offer age-appropriate curriculum for children at COP because they are disciples too. We have great teachers and classrooms meant to disciple your children, not just babysit them.
Sundays are essential but not sufficient. They are great for communal worship, but they aren’t conducive to everything a Christian needs. Getting to know people and being connected to our community can certainly start on a Sunday, but we work hard to provide opportunities for new people to join our other gatherings on week days.
We aim for a mission-minded community of witnesses sent by God as disciples who make disciples. As you continue with us, you will have opportunities to meet with those that don’t know Jesus, and give back to the community. You don’t need to worry about being able to communicate the gospel effectively as we all are learning and growing together in doing this.

The Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG) was founded in 1952 in Nigeria, following a divine revelation received by a young man whose heart had been set ablaze with an unquenchable desire to personally encounter the Supreme Being, in spite of a prevailing environment of nature worship. Seeking a fervent relationship with the God he still knew little about at the time, Reverend Josiah Olufemi Akindayomi was fired by the intuition that there was a greater power than those commonly known to his people.
We believe that the entire Scriptures, both Old and New Testaments, were written by the inspiration of the Holy Spirit (2 Tim. 3: 16-17). We believe that the Bible is the written and revealed Will of God. The teachings of the Bible are holy and we accept these as the revealed will of God which remain unchangeable. Heaven and Earth may pass away but the Word of God stands forever (Deut. 4:22; Rev. 22:18, 19; Matt. 24:34-38).
- To make heaven.
- To take as many people as possible with us.
- To have a member of the Redeemed Christian Church of God in every family of all nations.
- To accomplish no. 1 above, holiness will be our lifestyle.
- To accomplish nos. 2 & 3 above, we will plant churches within five minutes walking distance in every city and town of developing countries and within five minutes driving distance in every city and town of developed countries.
- We will pursue these objectives until every nation in the world is reached for Jesus Christ our Lord.

We started as a parish plant of RCCG Victory House, London in fulfilment of the RCCG church planting mandate. With our absolute trust in God, He has enabled our steady growth over the years.

We exist to bring people into the loving knowledge of Jesus Christ, build them up to Christ-like lifestyles, encourage their fellowship with other Christians, enable their maturity; then ‘send’ them out to influence their community and nations.
